Couples Therapy

I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-based approach that helps partners understand the deeper emotions and needs driving their patterns of conflict and disconnection. EFT focuses on the emotional bond between partners—helping you both move away from blame or defensiveness and toward openness, empathy, and understanding.

In our sessions, we slow things down and look at what’s happening beneath the surface—what each of you is truly needing, fearing, or longing for in those difficult moments. Together, we’ll uncover the cycle that keeps you stuck and begin to create new ways of reaching for one another that feel safe, supportive, and emotionally attuned.

I work with couples in all stages of their relationship—whether you’re dating and want to strengthen your foundation, navigating the challenges of long-term commitment, healing after a betrayal, or simply feeling disconnected and unsure how to get back to each other. My goal is to create a space where both partners feel heard, seen, and emotionally safe to explore what’s happening in the relationship.

Through EFT, couples often rediscover the warmth, trust, and closeness that first brought them together. It’s a process of learning how to turn toward each other again—with compassion, honesty, and hope.
