Hi, I’m Katherine — a San Diego native and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ever since I was little, I’ve been fascinated by people — how we think, feel, and connect. I was always the one who wanted to listen, understand, and help others feel seen. I think that natural curiosity and love for people is what led me to become a therapist.
I’ve always believed that healing starts with feeling safe enough to be honest — with yourself and with someone who’s really listening. That’s the kind of space I try to create in therapy. My work focuses on helping teens and adults heal from trauma and life experiences that might show up as anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, or feeling disconnected from who they are. I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help my clients get to the root of their pain, not just manage the symptoms.
Growing up in San Diego has definitely shaped who I am — I love being near the ocean and spending time outside whenever I can. When I’m not in session, you can usually find me at the beach, hanging out with friends and family, or enjoying good food and sunshine.
At the heart of my work, I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to heal — sometimes we just need a little help finding the way back to ourselves. My goal is to walk alongside you in that process, helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want to create.
